Meditation, in the yogic tradition, is not something we do, it is something we become.
Through a carefully structured progression, this training guides participants through the essential foundations required for meditation to unfold naturally: preparation of the body, breath, nervous system, and inner attitude. Rather than forcing stillness, the practices cultivate the right conditions for awareness to arise on its own.
You will explore meditation as a living process, from sensory awareness and breath observation, to inner silence (antar mouna), Yoga Nidra, and the emergence of the witnessing consciousness (sakshi bhava). Equal emphasis is placed on personal experience, philosophical understanding, and the subtle art of holding space for others.
Modern neuroscience increasingly confirms what yogic traditions have long known: meditation reshapes the brain, calms the nervous system, and refines emotional regulation. Yet this training goes beyond technique or outcome, offering meditation as a path of self-knowledge, clarity, and integration into everyday life.
This is an intimate, by application training with limited spaces; reserve early to ensure a personalised and transformative experience.

The training balances theory, guided practice, silence, reflection, and dialogue, allowing understanding to arise from direct experience rather than intellect alone.
This training is grounded in the teachings of Swami Satyananda Saraswati (Founder of the Bihar School of Yoga and author of the book Yoga Nidra) and Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati, where meditation is understood as the art of conscious living, not performance or attainment.
As the texts emphasise, meditation unfolds when preparation is complete. The role of the teacher is not to impose experience, but to create a safe, grounded space in which awareness can reveal itself. This ethos is woven throughout the training, both in how meditation is practised, and how it is taught.
